1. How many interviews will there be?

Generally, we limit our process to four steps, with three being the norm.
The number of steps and details about each are outlined in every job
posting. During your initial interview, our recruiter will provide a
comprehensive overview of the process, inviting you to ask any questions
you may have.

2. What type of interviews do you conduct?

Our interviews encompass a variety of formats to ensure a holistic
evaluation. Expect a combination of behavioral, theoretical, and situational
questions. Additionally, skills demonstrations are often part of the process
for many roles, providing candidates from all backgrounds with the
opportunity to showcase their abilities. We’ll also be asking some fun
questions too – so don’t be afraid to share your carefully curated playlists!

3. What if I need accommodations during the interview process?

4. How long is the probation period?

The probation period depends on the laws in your country of employment.
In many cases probation lasts for 3 months.

5. What if I’m interested in working here but don’t see a relevant opening?

6. Can I reapply if I’m not selected for a position?

Absolutely. You are welcome to reapply to any future positions that interest
you. Take time to see how you can improve your application for next time,
and don’t be afraid to ask your recruiter for feedback when you don’t make
the cut. We’ll absolutely share some insight on decision making factors.

7. Where is the team located?


Our team is spread across 9 countries, with a majority being based in the
United States.

8. Do I need to be a musician to work here?

Of course not! We are a diverse group of colleagues; whether you are a
hard-rocking drummer, an avid reader, sports fan, or dog-trainer in your
spare time, you’re still considered a valuable member of the team. Even if
you don’t have a musical bone in your body, there could still be a job for
you.

9. What does work/life balance look like at inMusic?

work/life balance you can expect in the role, as each position and
department offers different forms of flexibility and support. As a company,
